Pronto Delivery Portal User Tips




1. Use the search bar to search for merchants that deliver to your city(for Gambia Locations Note: you can search by merchant (business name) by clicking the envelope icon, or by service (meals, taxi) by clicking the tools icon, or by item (pizza, moringa tea), (if you are using the app these are the three grey dots on the top of the screen)


2. You do not have to use the search bar to select a merchant/business, you can also do that by selecting a service if you scroll below, one merchant can belong to different service categories so you will likely find your choice of merchant/business in any category that applies/ scroll down and select the product/item you want, the cart on the top right side of the screen will update itself automatically .


NOTE: You can also do a Google search for any merchant and Pronto-Gambia and search results should direct you straight to their merchant page on the Pronto platform.


3. After you select your Item or Service note that you should click on the shopping cart icon on the top right of your screen to continue to the check out section also kindly note that if you are using the app, it may initially calculate the delivery charge automatically based on your last entered location, dont worry about this, you will be asked to enter the location you want to receive your delivery on the next page and there the system will automatically recalculate the delivery charge.


4. Please note that it is important to use the right spelling for merchants and items otherwise your search wont produce any results or not the one you are looking, (if your location does not show up with the autofill, still enter it anyway)


This is the same for entering location information, please go with the google maps spelling for each location eg Kotu not Kotou


5. Click "continue as guest" to avoid creating a profile if you wish, but you will have to enter address information for delivery purposes.


6. When entering your information, there are some required fields but it only means you must enter some data, the apt numbers field is optional as well as e-mail, so you can leave those blank but you must enter something under zip code, eg 1234 should be ok. Your Phone number could also be any valid Gambian number, this does not have to be your qmoney wallet number although it could be. Also feel free to use the additional instructions field to clarify directions, additional errands etc


7. Always use “kmc” as the “state” and enter the location you want your items delivered to as the location not where it is being picked up from


5. Next select the payment method, different payment options differ according to the merchant but to pay with mobile money select Qmoney by from the list of payment gateways by clicking the circle next to the Qmoney option,


6. The next screen will ask for your telephone number...here is where you must enter your Qwallet number(your phone number with qmoney). Please note: do not include country code, just enter your 7 digit phone number as is


8. It takes about 20-30 seconds to get OTP code on your phone but it is reliable so it will come. Once you get it you enter the OTP code received on your phone and then your payment will be complete. The app works in the exact same way as the site


9. If you are outside the Gambia, you can make a paypal payment to prontogambia1@gmail.com, make sure you provide the contact number of the recipient in Gambia.
